Sunday with Soft Spot Stamping - Memorial Day Inspiration
Hi everyone! It's me again! Tonight, I have a video for you showing two patriotic cards I made. I was in a department store when the inspiration for one came to me - I saw paisley's and was like "Hey - I have paisley stamps! Maybe I could make a card like this!" And while the card looks a little different is was still inspired by the shirt! So without further ado -

Sunday with Soft Spot - Hello, Goodbye!
Hi everyone! Hope your weekend has been a good one! I spent yesterday morning at an outdoor fundraising auction to buy spring plants...in the rain...and it was cold! We go annually and usually end up with quite a few plants. This year I think the dreary day dampened my want to get back home and plant so we didn't come home with as many. Oh well!
What did happen for me, though, was time in my craft space!!! I had a special request for graduation cards so I knew I had a mission! And by the end of this evening, I had cut, stamped and completed more cards than I had in two nights in a while...and each my own creation! WHOOHOO!! (I am still working on completing the grad cards...needs a little something to call them done but when I figure it out, I will share!)
Now let me explain the title of this post! As I was stamping the last two nights, I made a special effort to incorporate some soon-to-be "old" things and some hot-off-the-press "new" things! Our current catalog is coming to a close and there are some really awesome things that I am going to miss! Pop of Pink DSP and Organza Ribbon - awww!!! But then...there are some really awesome new things coming - and I might just say that This Little Piggy is just one of the many new sets that I am loving!
So tonight I present to you three cards created by yours truly with a combination of old and new! As I mentioned earlier, our current catalog comes to an end on May 31 which means the new starts June 1! AHHH!!! Just a little over a week away! I have so much on my wish list and can't wait to get some more in so that I can share with you! I am also working on an online party that you can join and get a peek at some ideas before you jump in!
